Meet the CTI Core Team

Rich Cooper

President and CEO

Rich started his career in construction as a means to support himself through college at Cal State Northridge. Working in the trades, Rich developed a passion for construction that would ultimately lead to his creation of Commercial Tenant Improvement in 1987.

 

In 1989, Rich was offered a construction job with Federated Department Stores. During his time working with Federated, Rich continued to build and develop his company. After many successful years with Federated Department Stores, Rich made the decision to devote all his energy into further developing and growing CTI into a successful, full-service general contracting company.

 

Recently, Rich has expanded Commercial Tenant Improvement into the recently formed CTI Group. The CTI Group encompasses Commercial Tenant Improvement, CTI General Contractors, and Sport Builders Group, with more ventures to come.

 

Through the years, Rich and his staff have built several iconic locations in the Southern California Area. He and his staff are proud to have built a client base off of primarily repeat and referral-based business, which inspired the CTI's motto: "Building relationships, one projects at a time".

Dario Sindicich

Senior Project Manager

Dario started his career in construction in New York City nearly 40 years ago. He has been actively managing projects in the Southern California Area for the past 30 years.

 

Dario began his relationship with Rich while working on Macy's Department Stores in the mid-1990's. Throughout the years, he continued a successful work relationship with Rich and CTI. In 2003, he left his previous company for a full-time position with Commercial Tenant Improvement and has grown to become CTI's Senior Project Manager.

Jose (Pollo) Martinez

Superintendent

Pollo started his career in construction with Commercial Tenant Improvement at the age of 22. With tutelage from Dario over the years, he has become a great asset to CTI as a superintendent. He is currently responsible for overseeing and managing T.I. projects.

Robert (Bob) Cooper

Director of Finance

After his retirement from over fifty years in the Automotive Industry, Bob was asked to join Commercial Tenant Improvement as the finance director. Over the past nine years, Bob has helped to successfully manage all financial aspects of Commercial Tenant Improvement and now the CTI Group.

Michael Zadravec

Director of IT | Project Engineer

With a passion for technology and having spent half his life in the IT field, Michael was asked to join Commercial Tenant Improvement with the goal of assisting us into becoming a technology-driven company. By implementing solutions to keep the staff always connected, he will be able to guarantee that information will be shared in real time.

 

On our builds, Michael assists the Project Managers by managing IT-related subcontractors as well as assuring proper infrastructure is in place for the jobs.

 

He also assists in gathering information and resources necessary for our team to remain on time and under budget on projects..
